How this works

  • 1 The sender picks a file, optionally sets a password, and gets a code.
  • 2 That code (or link) can be shared any way — WhatsApp, SMS, or just read aloud.
  • 3 The receiver enters the code and hits Connect — a direct connection forms between the two devices.
  • 4 The file transfers directly, at your own internet/WiFi speed — it's never stored anywhere in between.
The transfer uses WebRTC's built-in encryption (DTLS), and you can add your own password on top — the file only starts sending once it matches.
Use "Pin to desktop" to install this as its own app window, and "Keep this file armed" so it re-shares automatically the moment Wi-Fi or internet comes back — no need to click Start again. The tab/app window still needs to stay open; browsers don't allow it to keep running after being fully closed.
