Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

Acceptance of terms

By using SharingCast, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

What the service does

SharingCast lets two devices establish a direct, peer-to-peer connection to transfer files. The service is provided "as is," free of charge, with no guarantee of uptime, transfer speed, or successful delivery.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use SharingCast to send, share, or transmit:

We do not monitor file transfers (we technically cannot, since files travel directly between devices), but violating these terms may result in your access being blocked if we become aware of misuse.

No warranty

SharingCast is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that transfers will always succeed, that the connection will always be available, or that the service will be error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SharingCast and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost data, failed transfers, or unauthorized access resulting from a password you chose to share.

Third-party services

SharingCast relies on third-party infrastructure (such as a WebRTC signaling service) to establish connections, and may display advertising through Google AdSense. Use of those services is subject to their own respective terms and privacy policies.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
